This may be my latest favorite go-to outfit. I was very afraid of the dreaded empire style waist. I looked preggers in most of them. I found that if I avoid elastic and high-belting, the fullness accentuates my hip area. Or lack of hips area ! It's funny how seeing photos are so much different than the mirror! This dress was a vacation dress for the beachy HHI. I added a full cream skirt underneath for x-tra length.
I have a lot of light colors and fabrics for this season's nude / pastel palette, thanks to my beachy love.
Adding a couple of light scarves make them more up-to-date and less swimsuit cover-up looking.
My hat is from Target, Shades by Cosmo Girl, thrifted scarves.
Rocket Dog flip-flops.
Earrings from Target, on clearance ( last year)
My favorite turquoise ring was bought at a flea market in Florida in the 80's. One of the best $10 bucks ever spent !
Accessories can really add a personal style punch to any outfit. It's like imprinting yourself onto a trend !
My weekend is going to be spent clearing out closets and trying to get some sun on my legs!
( Plus, a new coat of polish on my toe-nails.)
Have a Great, Inspired Weekend !

Hmm, I don't get the first comment. Did you mean she'd look better without the hat and the scarves? For me I really like the layering on the dress and I find the glasses interesting. The hat reminds me of Blossom, but like a grown-up version.
I love this look, pretty shade of coral, and it looks like it was made for you--not preggers at all. Is your hat part of the new Target line? Super cute
Lesa, the hat is from Target last season. Thanks for the Nice comments!
Style is such an individual statement. I enjoy all different kinds of styles and appreciate them all! What a bland world if we all dressed alike! Peace and Love to you all!
Well, I love it, especially the color. I think you have a lot of artistic talent. It shows in the way you put things together.
Thank you for your comment on my blog and your good thoughts! I am going to resume blogging very soon.
I agree with one of the earlier commenters that there is something very grown up Blossom about this outfit. What a great coral dress! I love everything about this outfit except for the flip-flops.
Totally digging on the layering.
I've been doing this a lot too.

oh my.. I think I posted a comment about this outfit on someone else's blog! Ooops!
Love the coral dress, great idea with the underskirt. Love the turquoise ring...
Love the layering and the different colours. Very cute. Also really like the earrings and your turquoise ring.
Didn't get to read the first comment, but I assume if it wasn't nice it was purely out of jealousy because your style is awesome.

Cute dress. I dig all the accessories. Your photos of the details (jewelry, close ups of clothing, etc.) always look great!
