WIN A $100 Gift Card and Empower Women!

Hi Everyone!
Today is the day for you to enter my first big time GIVE-A-WAY!
MarketPlace contacted me a couple weeks back to sponsor this contest!
This is no ordinary contest, MarketPlace is an organization that helps the women of India to become financially secure and empowers them to do what they love...
They sent me this tunic to style and I had so much fun doing it! I will be showing you all the different ways one lovely tunic can be worn this week!
They are also giving away a $100 gift card to
one of my faboo readers!

MarketPlace: Handwork of India is an innovative fair trade, not-for-profit organization which combines the experience of running a business with a variety of support programs designed to effect real, meaningful, and lasting change in the lives of low-income women in India. We work with 480 artisans who are organized into 14 independent co-operatives which produce high-quality women's apparel and home decor. Being in charge of their own businesses, the women learn valuable skills and are able to earn a living and support their families. In addition, programs offer educational and enrichment opportunities designed to help the artisans overcome personal, cultural and financial obstacles.

Empowered with independence and self-confidence, these women become agents of change. And they find the courage, with the support of their cooperative members, to fight for what they believe in. Asserting themselves as decision-makers in their families, they have kept their children in school and out of early marriages, thus ensuring them a better future. They have also become social activists, using the skills they have learned in the workplace to improve conditions in their communities.

In MarketPlace's comprehensive and creative organization, economic development is only the first step for these brave and resourceful women.

oh, oh, oh--you know I want the field pants, but since I've already been indulged by Marketplace, this entry is pretty tongue-in-cheek!

I hadn't noticed the delicate embroidery on the tunic like this that Pam wore and I'm looking forward to the ways you'll style it.

My favorite items:
Fabric Necklace - Olive, rose Code #: 43K-03
Sonali Top - Bronze, White Code #: 44C-11
Jaipur Skirt - Black, Gray Code #: 44D-01

It cracks me up that you and Pam got the same tunic and Terri and Anne got the same top. At least all four of you didn't get the same thing!

What a wonderful company and a generous giveaway. I would probably go for one of the tunics or shorter dresses to use as a swim coverup. I might also look into some home stuff too.
