Getting Carded Backwards / Plus No More Music !

OK, so it was cool to still get carded in my late 20's and early 30's. It was flattering, though I never seemed to get carded when I was underage ?  ~  But after a while I started noticing that it never happened anymore. OK.  Then comes the day when a  little boy at the grocery called me ma'am. Well, he was probably in his 20's,  but you get the overall feeling of the moment ;)  ~  Meanwhile, my hubs shaves his face and still gets carded.........
THEN, it happens.........
You are asked of you receive the Senior Discount at Goodwill.
COME ON !!!
I even had on a peter-pan collar, for God's sake ;)
I usually don't do the high-waist belt look, but gave it a try. Usually I appear preggers or my boobs seem gigantic. I did feel a bit "little-girlsy" in this dress, which made me need to twirl, but the heaviness of the jacket gave it somewhat of a balance, plus I was only running errands anyway :)
Apparently the guy at Goodwill didn't see the little girl in me ;) ~ He wasn't looking hard enough !

Jacket: Old Navy, thrifted
Dress: Dot's, 3.oo
Brooch: Sears? i think ...
Tights: Covington, Sears.
( I used to work there )
Sunnies: Vintage, thrifted
Hat: very old.
Shoes: Nine West. thrifted.

I should start listing the stuff
that isn't thrifted :)

AND, I have taken the music off :)
For good.
( You're welcome ;)
I was hooked.
Addicted.
At first, it was just on the weekends.
Then I tried to quit, cold turkey.
After another intervention, I am off the tunes for good :)

I was just thinking that you looked so girlish in these pictures! I didn't even notice the high waistedness of the belt. It must be the jacket balancing it out. I love this look on you, Reva. Thanks for taking away the music, now I can check you out during the day.

New Template and change your template. The pic in your header is what gives it the lines....

if there's a way to create Transparent for header lines but color for photo lines you're on easy street...but not sure.

After Saturday,I can totally help you. much love, Bella Q

ps: you look so good in this new pic. So Fall!

You gave me a great idea,I bought a olive vest and was not really sure how to wear it. I like the pin, gives it a cool look.

If you get a chance take a look at my blog, I mentioned you.

The guy at the Goodwill must have been on crack!

Super cute! I usually go for the high waist belt, so I like it! And I can totally see this being an outfit to twirl around in! Hehe, sorry about all the frustration with getting carded! Maybe the guy at Goodwill will do better next time! I hope you're having a great day! :)

Well, I DO qualify for the Goodwill discount and I take it! No shame here.

I really like how you've dressed up this jacket with the brooch!

Gosh, what was he thinking? You look adorable and not at all senior. Maybe it was your super-cute old-fashioned shoes.

In about six years I'll be old enough for AARP. For some reason my parents find that hilarious...

You look very cute and girly in the mini dress that request was out of order! Mind you I'd have been tempted to take them up on it and grab a few more bargains. xxx
PS Glad the music's gone, it scares the hell out of the cats!
