DIYed Sandals

I used to be the queen of thongs, aka flip-flops.
I still have many. Favorites from beachy vacations
or just to wear around in the summer.
Here's a neat way to take breathe new life into an otherwise plain pair of thongs!
You'll need:
an old pair of thongs ( I chose a patent with a small heel )
scissors and an old gauze scarf (I used left-over material from an old skirt)

Cut about 24 2 to 3 in long strips at around 1" wide.
12 or so for each side.
Tie them to the straps and knot. You can use more for a fuller 'poof',
just make sure you have room for your toes.
LACE DRESS: Old,thrifted / CARDI: Sears / HAT: Thrifted / GOLD STATEMENT NECKLACE: UC gift shop
BIKE SHORTS UNDER DRESS!
That's it! Easy-Peasy - and when you tire of this look,
just change out your fabric.
( I think I'm gonna do this with some platform flippies! )
Here's to a great weekend!
xXx

These turned out so cute! I have many pair of the rubber (dollar store) flip-flops in my closet, but I suspect I could do something similar with them.
