Marc Jacobs(ish), Cemeteries and a Klutz

I was feeling all Marc Jacobsy in this outfit. The belted jacket, the slew of brooches and a full skirt below. I'd hoped to find a long, full one, but I double-skirted a shorter one instead. Marc Jacobs is a master with belted jackets over full skirts. I paroozed the neighborhood for a new place to shoot and found a super old Cemetery near my house. I love cemeteries. They feel so sacred and serene. But,as my klutz factor usually shows up at least once a day, and the sun was setting, so not much "day" left to work with, I saw the perfect tombstone to sit on and pop off a few shots. As I set the timer and skipped over to plop my butt (in a stylish way, of course),on the headstone, the damn thing collapsed ! It fell over and my ass hit the stone. I did get it on film. If I do say so myself, I still managed to look kinda cool. What do ya think ? Stylin' ;)
I will not name said Cemetery, as I cannot afford to get it fixed and I tried to lift it myself. Very heavy ! Plus, it's really not "broken" as much as in a new area :) A few strong dudes could put it right back. No harm, No foul :)
My "flair". Cameo: Vintage - The rest: All over the place :)
The jacket inspiration came from this John Galliano belted military jacket that was floating around this
past winter, but without the skirt and the price tag ;) The other image is Marc Jacobs.
This is pretty flippin comfy ;)
See, Not Broken, just Relocated .
No cops, yet.
Shoes: AE, thrifted - Earrings: Self-made :)
Silk Jacket: thrifted - Skirt:Old Navy - Belt: Aigner, thrifted - Scarf: Yard Sale.

Okay, add this to my list of favorite outfits of yours EVER!

The pins on the jacket are such a cute touch and really great idea! I actually don't own any pins, but I used to take some of my mom's old earrings and pin them onto my jackets. They would always fall off though, so it wasn't a very full proof idea...ha.

You have inspired me to actually go get some actual pins! I love the new location spot, as well. A change of scenery is always nice and adds some spice to everyday outfit posts!

P.S. GORGEOUS self made earrings! You should start a buisness.

You look gorgeous. The colours are perfect in the glorious sunshine and I love the word "slew" so much!
I adore cemetaries, too. We'll have to hang out in one together sometime xxx

Oh my goodness I love wearing what I call a "bouquet" of vintage brooches!
A woman after my own heart!
