COLORFUL GOLD SWEATER WITH ALTERED SKIRT

It seems that bright colors are still going to be around this year. Thank goodness. I like them and with a trend toward working with what you already have, that makes for more outfits per piece! The stores seem to be adding neutrals to the brights, with the brights as more accessories. I tend to grab on to trends, but in the end what one wears is a personal thing, anyway.

I'VE HAD THIS GOLD SWEATER AND A GREEN ONE LIKE IT SINCE LAST YEAR, BUT DIDN'T HAVE MUCH TO WEAR IT WITH AT THE TIME.

I TOOK A BEADED COLORFUL NECKLACE WITH A SIMPLE WHITE T.

TOOK A LONG , FULL SKIRT AND CUT IT OFF AT THE BOTTOM. RAN ELASTIC THROUGH THE TOP TO MAKE A FULL SHORT SKIRT.

ADDED MY FAV. RED TIGHTS WITH LIGHT SLOUCH BOOTS TO MATCH THE LEATHER CORD THE BEADS ARE ON.

I ALMOST DECIDED TO WEAR NAVY SHORT BOOTIES.

BUT IN THE END CHOSE THE TAN ONES. 

(Notice how the skirt changes length? I couldn't decide if i wanted it longer or shorter!)

I DEFINITELY LIKE THE TAN BETTER!
