EXPECTED OR UNEXPECTED ? THAT WAS THE QUESTION !
I've had this skirt for a while, and since the tags were still on , I thought I'd give it a go. My new Mustard tights haven't been worn much, so I pulled this look together with my tights in mind.
I did the expected cardigan / skirt / tights look first.
I felt comfortable standing , but as I don't stand in this particular pose all day,
the skirt was becoming a No-Go !
My accessories I did like , so I tried this......
Minus the big beads.
But then I felt like someone screwed two bodies together at my waist !
THE LESSON I LEARNED ?
No matter how Eclectic my style can be , some looks are just not working.
My top half felt great in each look, but my bottom half felt uncomfortable.
I ended up wearing my skinny jeans tucked in my boots with the shawl top half.
No photo. Sorry ! By this time , I've gotta go !
I will give the skirt one more try, only next time , Tan or Black tights with a simple Turtleneck !
" The person who doesn't make mistakes is unlikely to make anything."
( not sure where this quote came from )
I'm gonna practice with my "good" camera tonight after reading Kasmira's tips on good indoor photo techniques ! Check it out at http://whatiwore2day.blogspot.com

I liked the first version of the outfit but probably would have lost the hat.
ACTUALLY THAT WAS A CONCERN! I ENDED UP PULLING MY HAIR DOWN INTO A LOW PONY AND USED "BUN" PINS TO THE BACK TO KEEP IT ON! BUT AS TIME GOES ON , THE HATS USUALLY COME OFF AND THE HIGH BUN REAPPEARS! MY HUSBAND CALLS ME "BUN HEAD", BUT IT'S SO EASY AND I'M A LAZY HAIR PERSON. I HATE TO WASH, DRY, CURL, ADD ALL THE THICKENING GOOP TO MAKE A STYLE LAST FOR 2 OR 3 HOURS! THUS THE BUN USUALLY WINS! :)
as always, tights are the best...
