I am wearing silk and loving it ! I used to avoid silk, as the "dry-clean-only" tag made me shiver, plus I somehow thought silk was a 'fancy' fabric - a bit too stuffy for me...
But lately, I am not enjoying wearing the traditional tanks and anything that shows too much arm (or boob ;) so, I gave silk a go. I wanted something cool as the temps. here in Cincy are hot and very sticky.
I have always scooped up silk scarves, but never was quite sure what to wear with silk in the summer.... A silk blouse with jeans or pants was all I could think of, til I saw this silk skirt while thrifting and decided the best way to don silk may just be with another piece of silk!
I actually felt well put-together and not so sweaty
all at the same time! Mom would be so proud :)
I brought the outfit into the "now" by mixing and matching prints...
Here's to a terrific, cool week :)

I also have come to love silk more than I used to! It feels so great to wear...I also love the way you did the scarf in your hair...
Such a pretty and ladylike look but still very rock chick and you, Reva.
I love silk, I just handwash it with some grated soap. x
I have a pair of tan shoes like yours and i love them, i want yours, they are black and my fav color to wear. would you like my address to send them to me? giggle
also can you do a video on ways to wrap ones hair. I love how you wear them all the time
You look so cool and fresh!! It doesn't look like it's as hot there as it is here.
What funny new blog were you checking out that you saw my face?!!
I love the headband, and that is such a pretty feminine print. Hope you enjoy your Monday. ;)
You look very sweet and feminine in these shots but with a little edge. I love your t-strap shoes as much as I love Mary Janes.
