FREE YOUR MIND ......

AND THE REST WILL FOLLOW ...............
BE COLORBLIND .........  DON'T BE SO NARROW..............
OOPS, THAT WAS OUTLOUD ;)
THAT'S THE SONG THAT WAS GOING THROUGH MY MIND ON THIS PARTICULAR DAY ! SOME OF YOU ALREADY GOT A GLIMPSE OF THIS OUTFIT YESTERDAY ;) Stupid LunaPics :)
( There's an obvious reason why it's appropriately name LUNA pics ;)
AS YOU GET TO KNOW ME BETTER, YOU'LL REALIZE THAT I AM A KLUTZ AND USUALLY RUNNING A POST OR TWO BEHIND. (This outfit was a "Happy Me" outfit. Why so happy you ask ?......  My CT Scan was terrific and my doctor released me! Yipee !!! )
BACK UP A MINUTE :
In August, I got a terrifying phone call from my doctor that I had a 1.3cm Carcinoma on my liver.
(I just thought I had a really golden tan........)  ~ So after 3 trips into the "machine of anguish" (aka MRI Madness and Cat Scan Chaos ) The transplant doctor (my newest, bestest friend) said the lumpy was gone. GONE. But, i'd need a re-check every 3/4 months. Last week was the dreaded re-check.
AND, my "filtering system" was even better than before :) SO, Asta, Baby ! I'm a free woman.
I won't need that Oil Change after all :)
I'LL LET MY OUTFIT DO THE REST OF THE TALKING ;)
WARNING : HEAVY IMAGE OVERLOAD :) ( I'm a work in progress...)

MY OUTFIT :
Linen Dress: Old Navy, super cheap, 3 yrs old.
Green shirt: thrifted ( I really like this one, so you'll see it lots ;)
Pashmina: Kroger ( I know !)
Black skinny stretch pants: K-mart
Shoes: thrifted
Hat: Dot's ~ Owl pendant: Vintage 70's keychain , $1.oo Antique Mall.
Sunnies: Foster Grant: Walgreen's cheapo's.
Satchel: Perry Ellis America, thrifted.
Good hair day: sheer luck !

I LOVE THIS LAYERING THING :)
Especially mixing Summer items with Winter.
And a scarf is my go-to as much as a hat.
Are you all shopping your closets, too ?

NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN ABOUT ;)
And I'm spent.....
Dang! I could've used this as my posing post ;)

Reva, That news is beyond wonderful. Can't believe you seemed to handle it with such grace.

Four years ago my gyno(new guy) scared the crap out of me by saying I had problems that I needed to see a gyno oncologist THAT DAY. My family was in Canada, but a friend tok me, the oncolgist took one look at me said nothing was wrong, and did the tests anyway, they came back neg. However I haven't been back since. I used to go religously once a year. My goal is to go in Dec. But I am petrified....

In other news, I love the scarfs you have been wearing lately, and I always love the hats. Maybe some day I will be able to pull off a Reva look, so cool.

Again, glad everything is okay!!!!

Oh My! Wow. That news is incredible. Congratulations on your freedom. Do you congratulate on this type of situation? I do not know the protocol. If I were standing next to you I would give you a giant tear filled bear hug, so yes, congratulations. I'm beyond happy for you.

Reva--what a terrible worry to have lived with! I have read that many cancers will disappear on their own. But MRIs can be equally frightening...what a relief! And to think that you presented such a cheerful face to us in the face of it.

And I can't believe this lovely shawl came from Kroger. It wouldn't be showing up in your shop, would it?

Your bag is fantastic. Reminds me of the briefcases those cute kids in Tokyo are always carrying around. Vintage charm at its finest.

I guess I could be talking about you too. lol. xo.
