GREEN TRENCH / Homeward Bound Summary

This outfit was what I wore home from my Parent's house. I was refreshed , but sad to leave. The trip gave me a chance to spend time meditating on the important things in life. Family, letting go of regret, staying connected to Creativity. I needed a soul bath, and the country is a perfect place for renewal. I got lots of hugs, and felt the sense of safety I get when sleeping at my parent's. Stress drained away and the city didn't seem so harsh as when I left it ! I can't believe it's been two weeks already!

Trench: Liz , Skirt : Rue 21, Glasses, Wal-mart.

CLASSIC TRENCH

Nothing makes me fell all growed up like the classic trench. Except in pink, of course !

I took these shots at sunset Down on the Farm. I'm almost through with my Homeward Bound Outfits.

.I got this inspiration from a simple look by loveMeagan , and it just seems so simple and classy.

The trench is a First Issue bought on clx. at Sears, The jeans are Gap, thrifted. The loafers are also thrifted and so comfy. A fitted white cotton shirt by ?, my Laurel Burch cat scarf and red belt for a pop of color. So simple ! Sometimes that's all you need !

Oh, and my earrings are by 1928 , which I collected for a long time.

The End-All , Be-All Dress !

My posts have no rhyme or reason. I am always a day or two behind, My style changes with my moods - like a box of chocolates, You never know what you're gonna get. I am still posting my Homeward Bound outfits and am already tired of them, but bear with me. My head is still swimming from all the inspirations I saw this weekend, all the cool commentaries I read , especially about blogger jealousy and self-image stuff. It's a whirl wind ride , this land of Blogdonia !

I got this dress from Targei' a few weeks ago and got it discounted another 10% past the 50% off due to a small tear that was mendable - Always ask! It has never failed me yet ! I thought this was the End -All , Be - All Dress of my dreams, only to find it isn't all that flattering. I love the print and the Flowy-ness of it , but it kinda hangs funny. Oh well, that's what I get for breaking my No Spendy rule so early !
