Do It Yourself Fur Boots

HI EVERYBODY !!!
I'M FEELIN' ALL FUNKY IN THIS FURRY ENSEMBLE ;)  I SUPPOSE THE MAIN ATTRACTION OF THIS OUTFIT ARE THE DIY FUR TOPPERS I MADE FOR MY BOOTIES, AND THE JACKET I SNAGGED FOR A BUCK AT DOT'S LAST SPRING.
I JUST COULDN'T JUSTIFY BUYING SOME TRENDY FUR BOOTS, SO I GOT A PIECE OF FUR FROM GOODWILL (once upon a sweater....) FOR 2 BUCKS , CUT THE FUR IN HALF, SEWED ON A PAIR OF VINTAGE CLIP-ON EARRINGS, HEMMED THE EDGES, AND USED SAFETY PINS TO SECURE THEM.
NOW THEY ARE REMOVABLE AND CAN BE WORN ON ANY PAIR OF SHOES ;)  I MAY EVEN WEAR THEM WITH HEELS....
TA-DA.
A GREAT LAST MINUTE GIFT IDEA FOR THE FASHIONISTA ON YOUR LIST ;)

This is awesome! You are awesome!(but you have have a typo in your title) ;)

You know, those would make great cuffs, too. Pull on a cardigan and put those on your wrists.

I wish I was more crafty.

Dear Reva,
Gosh, what a lot of snow you've got over there.
London is pretty bare at the mo but there are rumours that it might start snowing again over the weekend, we'll see.
I'm loving your fur bootie DIY. A few years ago when those 70s style yeti apres ski boots where all the rage, I bought some fun fur & covered a pair of plain boots myself...they tured out rather well actually, if I may say so myself ;)
Ofcourse you can blog about the piss-easy poncho...let's spread the DIY word!
Have a great weekend my love & keep safe & warm in the snow.
Lot's of love,
Jem

Oh! I love those! I am SO going to copy you! Were they hard to sew? Tough to get a needle through? Did you use the machine?

(Maybe you'll help me!)

That fur jacket is swah-eet, and unbelievable for a buck! The diy fur trim for the booties, amazing and clever! What a great idea!

But I am so taken with your beautiful peepers- no glasses, and your eyes are so lovely, that all the fur fades into the background. Grand outfit, and getting ready for the holidays!

So chic! And my goodness, a dollar for that stunner-of-a-fur coat?! You, Reva my dear deserve an award for thrifter of the year...

I love your layering techniques in this outfit, too! Hope you're staying warm and cozy in this nasty Buckeye State weather we've been having lately.
