GRANDPA SWEATERS AND WINGS
I'M HAVING ONE OF THOSE 'RUNNING-BEHIND' WEEKS. THE WINTER CHILL IS KILLING ME ALREADY ! I DID PLAY WITH MY TIMER ( can you tell ?) . I THINK SHE'LL DO JUST FINE. THOUGH PRESSING THE BUTTON IN GLOVES WAS A CHALLENGE ;)
IT'S ABOUT TIME FOR ME TO COME IN FROM THE COLD AND START THE DREADED INDOOR SHOTS . TO FLASH OR NOT TO FLASH, THAT IS THE QUESTION !
I DO HAVE A THING FOR COLORFUL KITSCHY CARDI'S. I DON'T ENJOY WEARING HEAVY COATS, SO LAYERING ON TONS OF CARDI'S KEEPS ME WARM. THE VERY OLD 'GRANDPA' CARDIGAN USUALLY STAYS HOME ;)
White long shirt: Victoria's Secret:thrifted
heavy cotton tights: Sears, clx.
Newest suede booties: thrifted ( the thrifty god's smiled on me again ;)
AND A BIG YIPEE TO ANN, AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL !!!!
SHE SHOWED EVERYONE THAT BEING DIFFERENT IS BEAUTIFUL :)
AND I HAD TO SHOW YOU THIS VICTORIA'S SECRET FASHION SHOW 'IN THE WILD' PEACOCK FEATHER WINGS :) I WANT THEM !!! ( Yes, I watch way too much TV....)
I NEED A BIGGER STOCKING...

I'm with you...layering is the way to go and more fun that just a big heavy coat! Your color scheme of purples and pinks is a pleasant, soft contrast to the winter weather. Stay warm!!

great idea for layering to stay warm - and your grandpa cardi is great for 'toughening up' a too-sweet flowery cardi. and that snow is so beautiful - like McCabe and Mrs. Miller.
