Do It Yourself Fur Boots

HI EVERYBODY !!!
I'M FEELIN' ALL FUNKY IN THIS FURRY ENSEMBLE ;)  I SUPPOSE THE MAIN ATTRACTION OF THIS OUTFIT ARE THE DIY FUR TOPPERS I MADE FOR MY BOOTIES, AND THE JACKET I SNAGGED FOR A BUCK AT DOT'S LAST SPRING.
I JUST COULDN'T JUSTIFY BUYING SOME TRENDY FUR BOOTS, SO I GOT A PIECE OF FUR FROM GOODWILL (once upon a sweater....) FOR 2 BUCKS , CUT THE FUR IN HALF, SEWED ON A PAIR OF VINTAGE CLIP-ON EARRINGS, HEMMED THE EDGES, AND USED SAFETY PINS TO SECURE THEM.
NOW THEY ARE REMOVABLE AND CAN BE WORN ON ANY PAIR OF SHOES ;)  I MAY EVEN WEAR THEM WITH HEELS....
TA-DA.
A GREAT LAST MINUTE GIFT IDEA FOR THE FASHIONISTA ON YOUR LIST ;)

OVER-THE-KNEE SOCKS / GREEN WRAP

Over -the-Knee socks.

I Kinda like them!

Below-The-Knee?

Add a wrap with above the knee?

I do love this green wrap!

It's so cuddly!

Yep. This feels so cool!

Maybe I'll keep the sox Below the knee?

Add my suede clutch-

And work it!

THIS IS MY THOUGHT PROCESS WHEN DECIDING ON AN OUTFIT. WAY TOO MUCH! I THINK THE PROBLEM LIES WITH TOO MANY CHOICES AND THE INABILITY TO MAKE UP MY DARN MIND! PLUS I AM A CLUTTER BUG. SO, THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE IS TO ORGANIZE MY ACCESSORIES AND CLOSET BETTER. SINCE I'VE BEEN BLOGGING, I HAVE FORGOTTEN TO EVEN POST MY ACCESSORIES, WHICH ARE MY TRUEST LOVE IN THE FASHION WORLD!

MY OUTFIT STARTED WITH THESE OVER-THE-KNEE SOX. I WANTED TO DISPLAY THEM IN MY OWN WAY, SO I ADDED GREEN KHAKI CUT-OFFS, MY BURGUNDY BASICS (TIGHTS AND TURTLE)-ADDED A GRAY SCARF, AND MY GO-TO BLACK VEST. WHEN I WENT OUT, I PUT ON THIS FOREST GREEN WRAP (POST-SEASON,LAST YEAR,SEARS) AND THREW MY WALLET INTO A THRIFTED CLUTCH (OLD NAVY). THEN SELF-MADE EARRINGS.  Wish me luck on my de-cluttering this week!

MOD SHORT NIGHTIE AND CARDIGAN

This look is inspired by my desire for layers. I start with the basics, leggings and tank. Then a Satin short nightie with lace on bottom, so I don't need a belt. An embellished Cardi, and matching slippers, and dangling grey pearls, so I don't need a necklace. Finally a high bun seems to balance out the look(and i prefer having height as my hair is very fine and gets flat easily).Found this cardigan at Target for $4.24 post-season).

WRAP YOURSELF!

This is another take on a silk skirt. This outfit is a silk wrap, pinned with a sparkle rhinestone snowflake. The basics are the same with a short necklace from Forever 21, and ribbons in my hair for a pop of pink. Can you tell I like pink?!SKIRT: thrifted, limited.
