Do It Yourself Fur Boots

HI EVERYBODY !!!

I'M FEELIN' ALL FUNKY IN THIS FURRY ENSEMBLE ;)  I SUPPOSE THE MAIN ATTRACTION OF THIS OUTFIT ARE THE DIY FUR TOPPERS I MADE FOR MY BOOTIES, AND THE JACKET I SNAGGED FOR A BUCK AT DOT'S LAST SPRING. 

I JUST COULDN'T JUSTIFY BUYING SOME TRENDY FUR BOOTS, SO I GOT A PIECE OF FUR FROM GOODWILL (once upon a sweater....) FOR 2 BUCKS , CUT THE FUR IN HALF, SEWED ON A PAIR OF VINTAGE CLIP-ON EARRINGS, HEMMED THE EDGES, AND USED SAFETY PINS TO SECURE THEM.

NOW THEY ARE REMOVABLE AND CAN BE WORN ON ANY PAIR OF SHOES ;)  I MAY EVEN WEAR THEM WITH HEELS....

TA-DA.

 As I am adding my images tonight, all I can say right now is , I hate you, Blogger !!! Sorry you guys, but they've did it again. Took a very simple method and turned it into madness ;) And, I don't use Picassa, I upload my images straight from my computer, which for me is the quickest and simplest method. Why? Why? WHY ? OK, now on to my outfit :) I have been in creative mode the last few days. I have especially been enjoying my cammy ! I took a full, "twist to dry" skirt and wore it as a top. I made straps for it, but they were too skinny, so I removed them and just popped a cotton vest on instead. I like the kinda tribal print. And then I got all crazy with some shoes as well. Nothing too major, but my Sharpies are calling me to do some other shoes and maybe a Tee :) The pre-fall weather is getting me all hyped and I finally got to put on leggings.

Then became the question, To tie or not to tie ?

Actually I think it was a draw ;)

 I cut my bangs and celebrated by curling my hair with a small barrel iron, which is a pain, but lasts forever !

Ahh, now I am settling down as I figure out this latest image gadget thingy.

Sorry Guys ;) I do get flustered easily sometimes. I still prefer the other way, though.

And I feel the change a coming - Fall Fashion !

Are you all getting hyped about Fall as much as me? I took a long walk through our neighborhood this evening. The rustling leaves, the dryer air, and layering all danced in my head ;) I will miss Summer, and I still have piles of outfits I wanted to wear, but Autumn Fashion and Fall, period, are always my favorites!

What are you looking forward to donning this upcoming season ?

White T dress #2 and logo T's

Happy Monday ! I've started the week off in comfort with my T-shirt dress thingy, except this time, I added leggings. As I have mentioned my secret love affair with Drag Depp, he is hidden close to my heart beneath white dress/tank thingy. I admit I have had a love affair with logo T's forever, but I really try hard to stick to original concert T's, though when the "vintage" rock T's resurfaced, I bought into them whole heartedly. The Vintage Gods were rolling over in their graves. After all, I worked in a shop that had them hanging all over the walls. How could I resist? Then came the lovely art graphics. I fell especially hard for the Asian and Indian images. Ahh, then the watercolors from Old Navy. I still have some with tags attached !  Anyhoo..... My week is gonna be a full one. My Mother-In-Law will be here and I will have an actual model to shoot (with my camera, you scoundrels!). I will be very busy and am trying hard not to get too stressed before the week even starts..... So wish me luck and here come the over-flow of images ;)  My ten-second-tri-pod workout was paying off!............... I was digging the shoot ;)  How would you wear this tank dress next time ?
