Today was like Christmas and my birthday!

My flowers are a bloomin', my mail man left me 2 packages 

AND a Glamour (a gift from my hubby :). 

I can't wait to show you one present I got.

Bitty-Bitty was really feeling pretty today! She matches my boots, too!

My dress, hat and necklace are from Dot's, who is having a terrific summer sale! The quality is just as good as F21, and they have an on-line store as well. I had forgotten all about this store, but ventured in one day last month and was hooked all over again. I don't recommend their shoes, but their trendy stuff is O.K. The pricing and return policy can't be beat, either. Dress: 9 bucks, Hat, $6.oo, 3-strand necklace, $8.oo.

The return policy is "any time, for any reason!" Can't beat that. Save your receipt and get the full paid price back as well.

MIXING FLORALS with a touch of Romance

Birth of Venus by Botticelli.

February seems to send me mixed messages.

1. Romance and lace with a lot of chocolate, or....

2. Really big, bulky sweaters.

February is truly an enigma !

Maybe some hot chocolate?

I've had this short sleeve floral dress since the early 90's. 

I love the print, so of course I tucked it away!

One day I thought of layering a small floral print underneath.

I added a shawl around my waist and pinned it with a big safety pin Heart brooch.

With my dangling pink heart and flower earrings.

A pop of Red lips and of course my fav. boots.

All done!
