Easy, Breezy, Kinda Cheesy

We've been living in thunderstorm alley this week. I am still in my "simplify things up" mood. Spending time cleaning , re-decorating and removing a lot of  "stuff" that has been weighing me down. My outfit reflects said mood. I got this jumpsuit, jumper, romper, (one-piece wearing object) while seeing the softer side of Sears back in June. I'm still not sure if I like it. The material is kinda shiny and slicker-like, though it does have pockets. That's why I always keep my tags and receipt, just in case. This may be one of those just-in-cases! I was gonna use a bright scarf as a belt, my original intention, but I just wasn't feeling it. Thus a boho scarf from Payless. Ta,Da. Easy Breezy and kinda Cheesy! Not sure where that came from, but it rhymes ;)
Sandals: Targei' (old) - Cardi: Old Navy - Beret: F21 - Necklace: Sears.
WW40 Update: I am still bombarding Weardrobe, but with less vigor. Defeated? Nah! Ever let go if something for a while, and then it happens? We'll call it my Zen approach ;) I am still going for "the shot" though. It will be mine, Oh Yes, it will be mine!
Here comes the rain again !

MODERN HOSTESS, SATIN NITIE AS DRESS

One of the pictures i fell for in my inspirational magazine was a dress over pants with flat sandals. This is my version. I wanted to shimmer.I need LAYERS as a hostess, as I can be hot one minute and cold the next. * NITE GOWN:?, CARDIGAN: Old Navy, Basics: ?, SILVER FLATS: Dots, CHANDALIER EARRINGS: Penny's for 3$. BLACK RIBBON in Hair: fabric store.RED LIPSTICK: Maybelline.*TIP: KEEP THOSE HEELS MOISTURIZED!

WHAT COMES AROUND.........

IT Came!!!

One of my fav. magazines came Sat.-I only get one now, although I love many--except the overly wordy ones. I want to see cool outfits and beauty tricks!  As I'm paroosing the ads I see lots of garter belts. Then I
think about how much I love them. I own old & new ones, neglegees, old-fashion slips, of all I love! My neice -24 yrs. my younger- owns none of these items. My style is  truly eclectic---from ripped jeans,floor-
length skirts, minis, t's, ruffles and floral skirts. Everything that comes around has been around before. I
love the trend of thrifting, although I've been thrifting for many years! I just hope Newbie thrifters save
me some goodies. I have learned to keep well -made garments as they WILL be back again!
