I Can Feel It Coming In The Air .....

This post is brought to you by the letters N,M & S.
As in No More Sweat and Not Much More Summer!
And happen to be the consonants in Nemesis, hmmm ;)
I really don't hate Summer, But i am glad to be feeling Autumn approaching. It has begun to cool down here in Cincy and my chigger/mosquito bites are finally beginning to heal. The sky is beginning to look a bit mysterious and the air is feeling different.
I love fall and i can sense it... Cool breezes, crunchy leaves and layers, hats and big fluffy scarves! Long walks in the forest...Yipee :)

Buddy the cat was my assistant :)

Oh yeah, and S for safety pins to hold the scarf in place as a belt :)

Here's to Autumn !
Thanks for your well wishes re: my trip to the dentist :)
I'm getting a cap next week. Whew!

I'm nowhere near ready to give up the slower more fun pace of summer, but have no problems with the cool front that's moved in this week. It's not fall yet, but it's coming closer.

This layered summery look is so simple and so nice. I have a pair of shoes like those in red that have become a summer staple.

Reva, you better sleep with those shoes under your pillow because I'm coming to your house to snatch them!!! LOVE those! So fun! And I really like your new header....it looks GREAT! Hugs to you! ~Serene

Hey Reva, you look grand! And I love your tip about safety pins : > There is *no* change in weather here for another 6 weeks or so - but I like it when it happens.

I too love the sense of Autumn blowing in. However, this year, it's feeling very autumnal far too soon because we haven't actually had a proper summer yet! (I know, it's such a typical British lament.) Thank you for your lovely comment - yes, I agree, Vix IS fabulous indeed.

You are the epitome of summery lovliness, Reva. I adore that hat on you and those espadrilles are stunners. x

Love this post as I moved to Texas from Burlington VT and Autumn is a distant memory as I embrace (have been forced to embrace) 105 degree days, 24 and counting. I miss, tear, Fall and have envy of all those getting a chance to gear up for it. Leaves changing colors, apple picking, cool breezes stinging my cheeks, and beautiful rains to inspire those first hearth fires. Sigh.. .. tear.
Beautiful post and lovely shoes!
