Hi Guys and Dolls!
I found this kick-ass vintage 70's jacket while on my trip. Broken in just right. Soft as a baby's ass. The interior of a Mercedes Benz (if I'd ever been in one-but I bet it't this soft).
But you'll never guess what I found in the pocket....
I'll give you a hint:
No kidding! Straight out of the 70's.
Possibly 40 years or more old.
Somebody must have lost their coat at a party....
Their loss....
And I only paid 4 bucks for the lot!
Again:
My life is so strange...
COAT: thrifted / silk skirt, hat, shirt, scarf, boots :thrifted

Did your trip route you through Vancouver?
Love those boots.
That is so great! It's authentic vintage. I bought an old beater VW years ago in Seattle and found the same little bonus under the seat! Swag!
Hey - Are you you holding out on me! (kidding) I look at your blog and wonder how the hell did I get so lucky - Not just because of your appearance (Brick House!), you're a funny, gentle, caring, and creative woman. (the list could go on & on) With wonder in your eyes and in your soul - Such a strong woman, such a vulnerable girl - I Love You.
omg, too funny!!
what a great find, tho...that's the best part is that second hand finds are broken in just right!

Hey, that's my coat!! Wanna meet me in the woods?
I love it!!!! Now You are making me want to shop.
My housemate has been looking for a coat just like that for a while. It's amazing!!!!
P.S. 40 year old weed would probably be pretty awful, actually!
OH my gosh, that's awesome!! i have yet to find something hilarious like that in one of my thrifting finds. LOVE the jacket though, looks great on you!! :)
Jon's got that coat somewhere, are you sure you didn't sneak round and pinch it from his cupboard?
You look ace, great find (s)! xxx
Love it. And I thought that finding $20 bucks in a thrifted purse was a bonus. :)
The coat is super fab, but that skirt is really catching my attention. Is it velvet? So flowy pretty.
xoxo
Oh lol, you found vintage weed in the pocket? It was literally an illegal bargain!
I've been vintage shopping since the eighties but I never found vintage weed in any pocket :-)
Ha! What a great story. I bought a fluffy-floofy scarf at my favorite thrift store recently and left with it wrapped around my neck. While I was driving home I was absently playing with the fringy stuff on the end of the scarf and felt something kind of... crunchy. For a second I was terrified that I'd just squished a bug or something equally gross with my bare fingers, but what I disentangled from the fringe was actually a little crispy-crunchy bud nugget. I laughed and laughed and tossed it out the window.
