AND AM TRYING TO GET BACK INTO THE SWING OF THINGS. IT'S A WORK IN PROGRESS :)
I'LL BE BACK ON TRACK SOON ;) ( The buttons have been my meditative, centering task )
( FOR NOW, THE "RAW" SERIES IS STILL ON HOLD, WHILE I STILL MEND,
BUT I WILL BE LETTING EVERYONE KNOW WHEN, AS TO ALLOW FOR TIME.

Reva! What a brilliant revamp, that sweater looks so unique and pretty with the addition of the buttons and I love how it clashes with your skirt.
Glad your Mum's still okay, don't worry about visiting us, we love you and are here when you feel more up for socialising. xxx
PS I'd missed your Raw deadline but may just pop something over now you are postponing it.
I love this idea. It also reminds me of emptying out my Mum's button tin when I was little girl - I am still a button fiend!

Oh Reva what a wonderful treasure and sooooo cheap!! I love that shade of blue on you and it looks wonderful with that rich red swirly skirt.
You look utterly lovely today:).
Now as for the buttons ... my goodness what a treasure trove! We must be cosmic twins because I'm going nuts for old buttons and blue, plus I'm just getting back into blogging after camera and computer hassles.
I hope your Mum continues to improve ... I'm sure she'd love to know her daughter is crafting to relax and de-stress:)))))).
Sending lots of hugs your way. xoxoxoxoxo
I am so glad tha your mum is hanging there, and you are carry on with your life the best you can. I was missing your posts so much.
I agree with you about the fascination of the buttons. I always keep them.
What you are doing is a fabulous idea to show them to the world...
Much love.

I have the cardi version of that sweater, completely inspired by you of course. The vibrant colors going on here are wonderful. I especially love the tiny heart shaped button- so precious.
This particular blue is wonderful on you and brightens up your smile! I love buttons...I find myself with a big box of them and I rarely do anything! I have purchased thrift items before just for the buttons. I think you have inspired me to look for something special to sew buttons on! I have in the past taken jackets and put fancy buttons on them for a different look...its fun! Nice to have you blogging!!
I love this! I just got a huge bin of vintage buttons from my grandma and will have to try this!
Hi Reva, Your selection of buttons are great. I'll have to try your project, sewing a button on is something even I can do!

I love the buttons on the sweater. I tried to do something like that once, and it went horribly wrong.

Don't worry about blogging, just look after yourself.
I like your centering activity of sewing (and I adore that key!!), and that you've clad yourself in lovely bright colours (right down to your socks).
Good for you for finding a centering task and something so satisfying as sewing! Buttons are so fascinating really, don't you think? I have boxes...and love to look through them...Best~ Paula
another common thing we share Reva. I make lots of sweaters and hats happier with vintage buttons plastered on them just like you do! Yay!
Love that color blue
You gotta make a necklace outta that key!!
Glad you are slowly returning to the world of bloggers
Brett
Loving the wind in that last photo! You should cover an entire garment with buttons. Center...until you have no more buttons to sew on.
