( NOTICE CANDY BELLY ? ;)
I AM MOVING AT A SNAIL'S PACE, BUT HEY, THAT'S OK ....
THIS IS ONE OF MY BACK-UP SKIRTS ..... LET ME EXPLAIN.... WHEN I FIND SOMETHING I REALLY LIKE, I USUALLY BUY 2 ( If on deep sale, which this was ), BUT RARELY WEAR IT , AS IF IT IS A GO-TO "SAFETY" ITEM. THE ITEM THAT IF OR WHEN I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO WEAR, IT WILL SAVE ME ;)
BUT AS TROLL LOGIC GOES, THEN IT RARELY GETS WORN, IF AT ALL ! (( this skirt is at least 3-4 yrs.old with tags still attached ...)) ~ plus, I have another one a size bigger !
SO MY WISE MOTHER-IN-LAW
ENCOURAGED ME TO STOP "SAVING" THINGS .
1. A NUCLEAR ATTACK ? ( I'll make a well-scented corpse )
2. TOMORROW I WILL DESERVE TO LOOK OR SMELL BETTER ?
( Come On ! )
3. I MAY WANT TO PASS THEM DOWN TO MY CHILDREN ?
(oh, yeah, I don't have kids...)
SO HERE SHE IS IN ALL HER GLORY ! TO BE WORN,
AND BREATHE A BREATH OF FRESH COMPLIMENTS ;)

I love the length of this skirt. All of the skirts of this style that I find are really long, which is a problem for a shortie like me.
I'm actually trying really hard to get rid of things and not hold on to items that aren't making me super happy in 2011. Hence the dress rehearsals of the week. I plan on being cut-throat and really paring down my wardrobe.
Hi Reva, I cannot tell you how much I like this skirt and scarf!! The skirt is one of my favorites already that I have seen you in since I started reading your blog..its great. You look so fabulous in the last picture on this post! I just really, really like the print.....

Beautiful palette. should you decide to "let go" of it, I'm interested and willing to pay a price!
Oh Reva! I love this entire outfit, especially the skirt! Beautiful! Let's see, since I started blogging I have learned to wear everything, velvet pants included. You should wear this skirt more often, I repeat, it's beautiful.
Reva--definitely DO want the spare skirt. E-mail me your address and I'll drop a check in the mail! terri.lowry@sbcglobal.net
You look fantastic in that ensemble.
About the skirt, i am not partial, you know I love them all.

You've brightened up my day in this beautiful ensemble, Reva! I've never been a saver (except of money) and happily wear evening clothes and glittery eyeliner during the day. Life's too short! xxx
What a great skirt! I love that you wore it with other colors and prints instead of playing it safe with neutrals. :)
I am a big believer in enjoying the things that you have - for years I never used my "nice plates" for fear of breaking them. Now I use them everyday - what am I waiting for? :)
Oh you did make me laugh - I keep some of my fragrances too, for 'best'?? Best what, exactly, I have no idea?? Time to enjoy them...You look lovely in these photos by the way.
What a great outfit! Love all the colors and prints!
Reva! I love this on you.....you've mixed the patterns PERFECTLY. My favorite part, though, is your lipstick!!! I love it! What is it? ~Serene
I always use to save things: "best" clothes for special occasions, perfumes & creams just like you said, but life is too short and I have re-educated myself to stop doing it!
