Curly Top / Floral Jacket

Hi all!

I wore this outfit the day my hubby went out of town. He just loves this wig as much as I do.
I actually had this hair in the 80's, but my hair grows so fast, I was curly on the bottom, straight on top within a couple months! So the 'weave' wiglet is a nice, 
funky change without the hassle of another perm.
It's so great to be back home. Ya know what they say - Home is where your stuff is!
(I actually have a new haircut, though do layers count as a real cut?)

Hi everybody!

No amount of neutrals can balance out these super-hot pink tights.
Though a rose-covered jacket and polka dotted scarf 
aren't considered neutrals I suppose ;)

Yesterday, when i mentioned the death of "Maggie the Cat", I was referring to Liz Taylor in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof"... (that's what Brick called her)
I got so many deeply felt sympathy comments!

THIS WEEK I AM SHOWING OFF A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS.

YOU PROBABLY KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE HATS, BUT I HAVE A SECRET... WELL NOT REALLY A SECRET, BUT MORE OF AN ILLNESS - ok, perhaps a fetish ?  I HAVE A STRANGE DESIRE THAT DRAWS ME TO ODD JACKETS. NOT THE TRENDY, COOL ONES, BUT THE ONES THAT HAVE BIG FLORAL PATTERNS, SOMETIMES QUILTED AND USUALLY , NO DEFINITELY, ONE OF A KINDS. PROBABLY BECAUSE EVERYONE ELSE WHO OWNED THE SAME JACKET THREW IT IN THE DUMPSTER MANY MOONS AGO, USES THEM AS CAT BEDS, 

( or gave them away for me to find ) ... YOU KNOW, CHURCH LADY JACKETS. 

THEY CAN BE VERY CHALLENGING, BUT I'VE FOUND THEY ALWAYS GO WITH 

BLACK BASICS OR JEANS AND A WHITE TEE. 

ALSO PAIRING THEM UP WITH A SUBTLE MIS-MATCHED SCARF, 

around the neck or as a belt, LOOKS GREAT AS WELL. ( A FUNKY HAT ALWAYS WORKS, TOO ;)

ABOVE IS MY LATEST FAVORITE AND IT'S EVEN REVERSIBLE ;)
