Well, I have been waiting patiently since early Winter to wear this thrifted H&M dress. So Boho, So Springy, So Me! I almost passed it by, as it was a small size, but NEVER do that! I tried it on, and though it could be bigger on the top, it still works. I just keep the buttons open - almost as if I did it on purpose ;) I see it with boots, tights, a funky hat. However (as most of my posts go), today I also wanted to also share a new way to wear a scarf. Another two-fer...
I thought I saw this on the site Playing with Scarves, but I don't think so...
Anyway, it's so simple to make a faux braid with a scarf. I just wrapped the scarf with the bulk to one side, tied a knot, added a hair tie to the top, (matching preferred). I then wrapped it tightly, and tied matching ponytail tie to end to secure it. I also added a fancy tie to the top for a little bling. I used a scarf with fringe to look a bit like hair on the end. Next time, I am going to do it the 'over-under' wrap way instead of a simple twist. I believe it will hold tighter.
