I hope your weekend was super. I am officially on-the-mend, so I couldn't wait to slip on this thrifted James Coviello silk dress. Honestly, I hadn't heard of him at the time, but this creamy little number guarded in black, sort of smelled designer. It also reminded me of something Marc Jacobs would have done a few years back. And I Love Marc Jacobs' imagination!Though it was a size (or two) too small, I always snatch them up and try em' on. I've scored lots of favorites that way. When smaller sizes fit, that's always a good sign of quality. I'm not sure why? Wealthy people need to think themselves thinner? Cheaper clothes, less fabric? Hmm?

This dress paired with these F21 leggings reminded me of Alice. I started to look for her in black and white tights, but she must have a huge wardrobe. I even saw her in a green and red dress. The nerve... I did find my mind's eye Alice (finally). Blue dress and stripes. So, I decided this is more of Alice, circa the 1920's...
