DIY Weekend / Let's do some Shredding!

Hi All !

What a great weekend!!!

I've been up to no good. Well, not really, unless you think shredding tee shirts for days, 

gently knotting them together while watching hours of 'The Americans' 

is not a good way to spend one's time. I suppose it's all in your perspective. 

I think of it as either meditation, or creative nonsense... I'll let you decide for yourself ;)

Diy instructions:

Don't try to be perfect, the messier the better!

Cut thin, long strips - pull tight to make the sides look 'rolled' - cut, knot - tie, tie, and tie.

I'm off to see The Cincinnati Rollergirls tonight. I'll be seeing some real shredding.

So what's a girl  to do but put them on stuff?

The lazy girl's way:

 Pick a predominate thread color and use it throughout.

Plus, they can be reused..

Maybe I'l find some at the antique mall.

My next culprit-espadrilles...

DIE HARD 2

Curiosity killed the cat , but satisfaction brought him back ....

HAPPY MONDAY EVERYBODY !!!  'TWAS ONLY A COUPLE YEARS AGO, I WOULD HAVE BEEN CONTENT TO LAY ON THE SOFA IN MY P.J.'S AND WATCH MOVIES ALL DAY WHILE THE SNOW FELL AROUND ME, ONLY TO GET UP AND RE-FILL MY POP ( and pee ) .......

TODAY IT'S ANOTHER STORY !

I MUST GET DRESSED AND EITHER DO A DIY PROJECT OR LEARN STUFF. TODAY I DID BOTH ;)

Now , I don't drive in the snow ( since I rear-ended that guy during a snow storm ), but I grew a pair, got on U-tube and bravely set my camera to AV. ( Advanced Mode ) .....  

198 shots later, by George I think I've got it !  ( Did I write it down? )  ~  THEN, I did 2 DIY projects as well.  You'll see them later this week ;)

I also checked in on Street Peeper and Tokyo Street Style for inspiration. I hope to hook up with a blogger who can enlighten us on the Art of Tokyo Style.

I ALSO HAD TO WEAR THESE GREY SHOES I GOT WHILE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING. I still haven't bought an actual gift yet ..... SHhhh..... There's still a few days left......

I only paid 5 bucks for them. When I find a 'trendy' shoe, I usually buy them in a black or brown to get more wear out of them, but I have been yearning for a grey pair, (only in a suede pump), but hey, five bucks ;) ~ and these babies will carry me well through spring and summer. Justified.....

I also love this little dress. It makes my boobies look smaller.

I feel all 'matchy' and such a girlie girl :)
