A MOMENT OF SILENCE

AND HOURS OF PRAYER ....
I DON'T NORMALLY WATCH THE NEWS, SO YOU CAN IMAGINE THE SHOCK WHEN WE SAW DATELINE THIS PAST EVENING. PRAYERS AND LOVE GO OUT TO ALL THE SURVIVORS OF THE HORROR THAT IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW IN JAPAN...

WHEN I WAS IN GRADE SCHOOL, EVERY MONTH WE HAD A "DISASTER" DRILL...
THE BELL WOULD SOUND, AND ALL THE CHILDREN WOULD SIT AGAINST THE HALLWAY WALLS AND COVER OUR HEADS...

SOCIAL MEDIA HAS MADE THIS WORLD SO MUCH SMALLER,
AND MADE ALL OF MANKIND SO MUCH CLOSER.

HOW DO WE PREDICT UNSTABILITY ? HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR IT?
I SUPPOSE BY LIVING AND BREATHING IN THIS DAY. I SEE NO OTHER WAY...

Reva--I cannot bring myself to watch any of this news, but I have read about it. It is unnerving...and yet, we breathe and count our blessings.

We can only be so prepared for disaster. My heart goes out to the people of Japan. I feel so helpless, and I wish I could do something. I normally don't watch the news either, and I'm trying to keep up with everything happening there.

You remind me of a total kick butt undercover agent in this trench coat, sunnies, and scarf tied around your neck. A very 1960's inspired agent if I do say (and that's even ten times better, he)

But as for the tragedy in Japan, I've been praying deeply for everything to hopefully get better for those poor people. My heart aches for them.

Hi Reva, I couldn't agree with you more. We have to live life in the moment. Easy to say hard to do. BTW, you are rocking that outfit.

Have a good one, Bonnie

I love you so much, Reeves. This is why. You are such a prime example of a fashion blogger who walks the line, and keeps substance in what can easily be accused of as superficial. That you for this moment of silence and strong reminder to keep our hearts open for the folks who are dealing with this tragedy. -Bella
