I don't even know what to call my own style other than "things I like that also fit". This is a really cute outfit though! :)Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10770269265597790236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7765128654756811135.post-67079974947884940472010-10-29T02:50:57.910-04:002010-10-29T02:50:57.910-04:00Lady Cardigan's right, you are you and you don...Lady Cardigan's right, you are you and you don't need a label or to be pigeon-holed.
Here current British Indie-fashion is nothing like the Indie look of the 1990's - pleated or tweed skirts, brogues, tights in primary colours, red lipstick, twinsets or Puritan collared blouses and severe fringes - a bit too sensible looking for my liking.
Stay as you are, you rock! xxxVixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05263970600699632661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7765128654756811135.post-22887355622386021802010-10-29T01:14:58.296-04:002010-10-29T01:14:58.296-04:00I agree with Terri, you are eclectic. Designers can be eclectic, say a certain year of Prada, any season of Marni, etc. Certain fashion icons are eclectic, the Duke of Windsor, Isabella Blow, Iris Apfel, for instance.

While Indie always starts off the mainstream, it is usually, eventually co-opted by the mainstream. Eclectic by sheer odd-ballness, never is.

Great post, Reva. Food (or clothes for thought.)the Citizen Rosebudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15321719043114075007noreply@blogger.com
