Returning in Rowdy Retail Trends

Hi everybody!
It's great to be home.
It was my 4-6 week trip to my parent's last week. I was gone a bit longer than expected. The trip was great. I expected to arrive and find a hopeless mess. Instead, my parent's and I spent time letting go of the fear that recovery for my Mom was not going to be a success. Determination set in. We took one day at a time, not allowing negative vibes to overwhelm us into defeat. I used the time to just love them both and send as much of my energy their way. It was tough at times, but by the time I left, my Mother and Dad were functioning very well. My Mom seemed to improve daily. She's now reading, eating very well and waking up to hope. A successful trip for sure. What a great Mother's day gift. The gift of hope :)
Before I left, I popped in Targei' for a quick peek at their clearance rack.
Not that this look is 'rowdy', but it made a good title ;)
I don't usually go for this kind of trendy sweater, but the color got me.
The shorts will certainly get a work-out this summer!

A giant west KY critter...

Now that I'm back....
I have tons of stuff to do! I have many ideas and posts lined up for you guys, a dress review, a couple meet-and-greets and who knows what else will be coming this way...

We also went to the Roller Derby Saturday night. It was the first international crew to hook up in Cincy. It rocked!!!
Roll On CRG Black Sheep!
I want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has been such a huge support to this little blog. It is not a typical style blog. It has been described as a 'fringe' blog. "Not quite your average 40+ blog"... I kinda like that. Better to be on the edge -
There's more room to hop onto the sidewalk that way ;)
I Missed you all!
Here's to a great week :)

Welcome home, Reva, so nice to have you back. And so glad to hear your folks are doing well and you're feeling positive. You look lovely, and that minty sweater is so pretty - I would have found it hard to leave that colour behind too. Xoxo

That is such good news about your parents. Oh Target. I just never come out of that place empty handed.

LOVE your outfit--the sweater is hilarious (I couldn't wear it with my boobage as my tits would look like their sporting shades...and a beard.

Happy belated Mother's Day ... to a great daughter. You will always be glad you had this time with them, in this way. So happy to hear your good report on your mother's progress.
As for you, kid ... I love the sweater, of course, but those are the best shorts ever! So great! And who is cool enough to wear contrasting watches by the pair? You are!

maybe it's the PMS hormones rushing through my body right now but I totally got teary eyed with joy to read that your family is doing well. I'm such an emotional dweeb when it comes to good news.

Fringe? I LOVE fringe! Fringe is the best, no fences for the imagination. I'm glad you're back and home is full of hope. That's great news.

Welcome back - it sounds like your visit with your folks went well. Hope is the most wonderful gift you can give someone. I adore that sweater, and it looks so cute the way you've styled it here.

So glad it was a 'good' visit. Target was very hard for me to give up clothes-wise. I would buy random stuff I didn't even need (or really want sometimes)! Something about that place... I try not to even LOOK at the clothes when I go lolzzz Always something cute! Great sweater and shorts!
Becky :)
