Pastels, Knots and Pearls

Happy Friday :)
Well, what can I say about this week?
It was mostly spent in the same outfit, though not PJ's ;) - I wore and slept in the same grey sweater and tan skirt for about 3 days. When I finally peeled it off yesterday, it stood up all by itself - well almost ;)
Losing a beloved kitty is hard. Real hard. But a bath helped (nudged on by my hubby), lots of hugs and tears. I still haven't been able to throw out her bed (yet) and her ashes arrived at the vet today. (They're still there ;)
I'm still in the "watch the door, she might sneak out" stage,
but can already feel a kitten  fix coming on strong. We will definitely adopt a shelter kitty or three... Shhhh....  Rod doesn't know yet ;)
And....
My outfit is another "Hide the Bra Strap"
Pensive face?  Grumpy face?  Mom about to blow face?
PS, DO NOT use the 'Portrait" setting for outfit shots!
(After reading the instructions, Duh), it washes out 'subject' color.
AKA, Me...
Tra, La, La...
Hug your fur babies today :)
xXx

Oh you poor darling ... losing a beloved cat is so, so hard. It's because they adopt us so we grow to rely on them for love and hugs. When my beautiful black cat Angus died several years ago, the kids and I went shopping for a mulberry tree. We buried him deep then planted the tree - each spring when the black fruit was abundant and juicy we would always say "Angus helped grow this for us to enjoy". I would recommend planting something or creating a special garden for yours - as we know, cats just love exploring outdoors and it will be a special place for you. You look gorgeous by the way! xoxoxoxoxo

Sorry about your kitty. It is so hard to lose a beloved pet. They provide so much joy in our lives and cause such an ache in our hearts when they pass.

I'm so glad you're up and about again. You must get more kitties, none will replace Bitty but a cat definitely makes a home and each and every one of those beloved furballs has their own personality and temperament.
Lovely outfit, nobody wears pearls like you do. xxx

I'm very sorry about your cat. I lost two dogs within the space of a few years, and it's too sad for words. I did get another puppy in between the deaths of the two dogs, and in a way it helped although at the time I felt too depressed to love him enough. Of course now he's the center of my world, just like the other two were.

I love the color combination of your outfit. Wish I had a smile as pretty as yours.

I swear I have a pastel Holly Hobbie dress(now that is a long story), & you have almost just convinced me I should drag it out & wear it again. ~Mary

It's so difficult to lose a loved one and I'm sure Bitty was part of your family. Love the 'knot' with pearls.

Oh, I love what you've done with the pearls. Wish I could give you a f2f hug.
