The Crazy Garden

Every child is an artist.  The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.  ~Pablo Picasso
The artist's world is limitless.  It can be found anywhere, far from where he lives or a few feet away.  It is always on his doorstep.  ~Paul Strand
(vintage watering can ;)

WITH THAT SAID, WELCOME TO MY CRAZY GARDEN :)
IT IS TINY, BUT THERE IS LOTS TO LOOK AT...
I PEER AT IT FROM MY KITCHEN WINDOW...
DEFINITELY A CAT LADY'S DOINGS ;)

SINCE IT HAS BEEN INCREDIBLY RAINY AND COOL (THUS THE SUMMER SWEATER), I THOUGHT YOU MIGHT ENJOY A PEEK INTO MY CRAZY WORLD. I NEVER SEEM TO DO ANYTHING IN A 'REGULAR' WAY....
IF YA LOOK REAL CLOSE, YOU MIGHT FIND SOME PLANTS IN THERE ...
(IT CAN'T HURT ;)

The world is mud-luscious and puddle-wonderful.  ~e.e. cummings
YEP, THERE ARE LIGHTS IN THERE...

Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.  ~Kahlil Gibran

You must not know too much, or be too precise or scientific about birds and trees and flowers and water-craft; a certain free margin, and even vagueness - perhaps ignorance, credulity - helps your enjoyment of these things...  ~Walt Whitman

If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive.  ~Eleonora Duse
HELP ME OUT, BELLA, A WILD STRAWBERRY ?
I am not a lover of lawns.  Rather would I see daisies in their thousands, ground ivy, hawkweed, and even the hated plantain with tall stems, and dandelions with splendid flowers and fairy down, than the too-well-tended lawn.  ~W.H. Hudson,The Book of a Naturalist, 1919

The tulip and the butterfly
Appear in gayer coats than I:

Let me be dressed fine as I will,
Flies, worms, and flowers exceed me still.~Isaac Watts
I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it.... People think pleasing God is all God care about.  But any fool living in the world can see it always trying to please us back.  ~Alice Walker, The Color Purple, 1982
TOLD YA I LIKE PINK FLAMINGOS :)

A HUNTER IN MOTION ....  SHE'S SO CUTE WHEN SHE TRIED TO BE ALL WILD ;)

Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.  ~John Muir

Love and Peace to you all,

Oh Reva! Such wonderful quotes!! The first one, my son used in his senior year yearbook quote. I love it! Oh, and btw, I can narrow it down to one pic because most of the time that's all I take! LOL Usually, I'm at work, and have my friend take a real quick pic out the front or back door! Yours are always great! Hugs! ~Serene

I love your garden! I will have to be happy to look at yours...I did not even put out a lot of plants this year because of the drought...it is just too hard to give them the water they need...but now I can enjoy yours!!

So many cute little things to look at in your garden:)). You spent a lot of time nurturing and decorating it, I love it!! I miss having a garden. I'm now renting after selling my house and it's just not the same when it's not my own place - soothing to the soul and for me, literally a life saver. Big hugs xoxoxoxooxxo
