There's Nothing Like Leather !

TA- DA ! I DID IT !
I FOUND ANOTHER PAIR OF LEATHER PANTS :)
I DON'T SEE MYSELF STARTING A ROCK BAND ( SORRY JIM ) BUT I GOTTA ADMIT, I FEEL LIKE A BAD-ASS IN THESE THINGS !  I TRIED REALLY HARD TO LOOK THE PART, BUT I WAS GIGGLING INSIDE THE WHOLE TIME. THANKS TO WHOMEVER ATE TOO MANY COOKIES OVER THE HOLIDAYS. THEY LEFT ME THESE GAP LEATHER JEANS AT GOODWILL FOR 19.99. SCORE !!!
( Quick back-story : I found a pair in December only to return them. They were too tight and painful )
Honestly, I'm not sure how much wear these dream-boats will get either as I don't do pants well ....
We'll see ;)

I PAIRED THEM WITH A FOO-FOO DRESS I FOUND AT TARGEI' FOR 4.24 (75%OFF) AS NOT TO MAKE THEM TOO TOUGH.  I FOUND THE PERFECT SHADES ( image 1 & 3 ) FOR A BUCK AT GOODWILL AS WELL. THEY HAVE THAT STEAMPUNK APPEAL THAT I'M STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT.....
( no eye-piece, just metal ) ~ BUT MY LATEST GIANT SUNNIES JUST LOOKED LESS 'CONTRIVED'.

OH, YEAH, I'M BAD ....

ATTIRE:    GAP LEATHER JEANS:THRIFTED
DRESS: TARGET ~ CROPPED SWEATER: OLD
                 BOOTS: HARLEY DAVIDSON, THRIFTED
HAT: THRIFTED ~ BROOCH: 1928 (RETIRED)

You could so be on a CD (I almost typed album) cover!! You've got the rocker chick look down! I am still amazed at what you are able to find at Target!!

Oh, honey, you are so badass in those leather pants!

I tried on a pair of black leather pants yesterday in a thrift store (I have been looking for a pair for ages), but they had this big slit at the ankle that I didn't like. And when I sat down, they revealed more plumber's crack than I care to share with the world. I'm sure I will find some eventually, though, and you're giving me such good ideas for wearing them! You look awesome!

Gah--blogger ate the first comment.

All you need now is a Harley! Seriously I like the soft top with the pants. I bought a leather skirt yesterday in a thrift ($3.50 on 50% off day)--after the husband approved. It's a little snug and a bit too long. Do you know anything about shortening leather?

Much coolness! When I first saw this in my blog list, I actually thought it was a professional/model photo of some kind and almost passed over it, then realized wait, that's Reva!

I love the contrast between the kick ass pants and the floaty angelic top. You really suit trousers as your gorgeous legs just go on and on. xxx

What an awesome look!

Have you seen the blog I Don't Wear Jeans? He's a fashion blogger in his 40's (and a guy! I know, right? there should be more male fashion bloggers out there) who has a pretty nice collection of leather pants.

The contrast of leather and lace is always so edgy.I am not a leather pant lover, but they look good on you; and you look the part, my dear.

I thought you were buying nothing in 2011??

I have found a lot of skirts, pants, vests, and coats at thrift stores. The best time to buy is in the Spring when women are getting rid of their old things. At that time, I could pick quality leather up for less than $10.00. I usually cut them up though. I think they look nice.
