Long , Tan and Funky

YEP, I NORMALLY DON'T LIKE COATS
BUT THIS ONE  CAUGHT MY EYE IMMEDIATELY.
THE SUPER-LENGTH AND THE NO-BULK FEATURE BOTH ARE SO ME.
I COULD SEE THE AMAZING VIX WEARING THIS BEAUTY !

IT'S ACTUALLY A SIZE TOO SMALL AND WON'T BUTTON, SO I SAW IT AS THE PERFECT 'COAT' TO WEAR WITH TEES AND STILL BE THIN ENOUGH TO AVOID THE PUFFIES :)
SO, IT'S ACTUALLY AN OPEN COAT DRESS ! I FEEL LIKE A TRUE BOHEMIAN IN THIS :)
I ALSO HAD TO WEAR WIDE-LEG PANTS AS WELL. THEY GO TOGETHER LIKE ROCK AND ROLL !
(Not sure what era this is from..... Any clues ? I'd wager the 70's, but don't remember any like this)

PLUS SINCE BEING ON A "NO-SAVING-STUFF" KICK,
I'VE STILL GOT A LOT OF STUFF TO WEAR THIS WINTER !!!

WE ARE GEARING UP FOR ANOTHER SNOW DUMP..... YIPEE......
 SO I'M OFF FOR SUPPLIES.
It's funny, but since the weekend, I haven't had much to say .....
I suppose that's when it's best to say nothing at all ;)
I suppose we know each other well enough to have comfortable moments of silence together :)

STAY WARM FOR ME ;)
xXx

Great pics, Reva! Great outdoor photos~I'm so sick of the indoor ones. The photo with the cigarette? Is so Norma Desmond! Paula

I don't know why...but these pictures look like they were shot for a new television show trailer...Maybe you are a fierce undercover cop!! You do look long and lean....

They just canceled my first night of classes...because of snow! That's never happened in over 20 years of teaching.

I'm seeing the wide legged pants everywhere on the blogs today.

That is a wonderful coat. I also really like your idea of using a pocket watch as a pendant.

Yesterday we had a warmer day and I soaked up the sunshine. Today grey, a bit nippy, but not so much as your winter! You look great, very funky and sleek all at once. You are so good at creating moods with your outfits Reva, and this one says Happy-go-lucky!

please do take this as a compliment, it looks like something Cher would have worn back in the day...70's for sure

Oh I'm flattered, my darling!
I love this look on you, very glam-rock and fabulous. I think these coats make the wearer look very long and lean and feel so glamorous.
Snow? Eeeekkk! We've got a big frost outside today, how vile. xxx

I love that coat! When I worked in women's clothing retail, we sold coats like that...in 1998-2000. I had a faux fur grey mix one that was a bit shorter. However, those were probably copies/inspired by this style, which definitely looks late 70s.
